With conventional shampoo cloths, problems include:
- wetting and staining the collar of the customer's clothes;
- the towel around the throat slipping off and rubbing against the tape, causing "Ouch!";
- the tape is fastened in one place, making it easy to come off and providing a poor fit;
- one size fits all, limiting its ability to accommodate all customers;
- the towel sticking out around the throat means it doesn't fit well and looks unstylish.
However, this cloth combines a collar guard, front guard, and tape to ensure salon-quality shampoo cloths.
