Easy root perm styling for natural lift and volume
AIVIL Magipa Rod is designed for Korean-style root perms, also known as Puri Curl. This technique creates soft, natural-looking volume at the roots without forming waves along the hair lengths.
Features of root perms
Unlike conventional perms, root perms focus on lifting the hair at the roots using specially designed rods, without winding the hair from the ends.
Perm solution is applied only to approximately 2-3 cm of hair near the roots, leaving a small gap from the scalp and avoiding application to damaged ends. This helps minimise unnecessary chemical exposure to the scalp and hair lengths.
The result is a soft, voluminous look that can be achieved with simple blow-drying. As the hair grows, the treated section tends to blend naturally with the rest of the hair.

Recommended Perm Solutions
First Agent: A cream or gel-type perm solution with a slightly thicker consistency.
Second Agent: A foam-type neutraliser, applied using a pump foamer.
Standard perm solutions commonly used in salons may also be suitable for this technique.
