DELAXIOR Straight Hard is a thioglycolate-based first agent for professional hair straightening services using a flat iron. Its straightening strength is balanced to suit a range of techniques and hair conditions.

Agent selection guide

Recommended for mild straightening at damage levels LV.0-LV.1, strong or mild straightening at LV.2, and strong straightening at LV.3.

LV.0 - Healthy, virgin hair or new growth
Hair has an overall shine, feels smooth when finger-combed and has good elasticity.
Colour level guide: approximately level 3.
Straightening strength: Mild.

LV.1 - Healthy hair with slight dryness
Hair retains shine, smooth finger-combing and good elasticity, but feels slightly dry.
Colour level guide: approximately levels 4-5, coloured using a 2-3% oxidant.
Straightening strength: Mild.

LV.2 - Low damage
Hair looks shiny and healthy but feels rough or dry, may snag slightly when finger-combed and absorbs water slowly.
Colour level guide: approximately levels 6-10, coloured using a 6% oxidant.
Straightening strength: Strong or mild.

LV.3 - Medium damage
Hair lacks shine, feels noticeably dry and rough, and is somewhat difficult to finger-comb. This condition is common in hair that has been both permed and coloured.
Colour level guide: approximately levels 11-13, coloured using a 6% oxidant.
Straightening strength: Strong.

Colour levels are a guide only and exclude hair that has been toned down.
