Expert-Designed for Natural Posture
Hattori-sensei describes the treatment bed as the “sacred place” of the salon—the core space where clients receive the service they value most.
The human spine naturally forms an S-shaped curve to support the weight of the head. When lying flat on a straight bed, this curve tends to flatten, often causing discomfort or lower-back strain, especially for women due to hip structure.
A posture that brings a sense of ease while lying down is similar to the fetal position—hips and legs gently bent. This helps preserve the spine’s natural curvature and reduces muscular tension.
Through client feedback and repeated testing, this foot cushion was designed with the most comfortable angle to reproduce that gentle, relaxing posture.
