Created in response to feedback from the DH series, the AIVIL D2 is one of the lightest models in its class. Its 105 mm long aluminum barrel—coated in titanium or gold—offers excellent heat conduction and achieves approx. 30% weight reduction compared with steel barrels. Weighing less than a slim PET bottle, it helps reduce wrist and shoulder strain during extended salon work.
Features
Both the tapered barrel tip and the clip are finished with a durable, abrasion-resistant and chemical-resistant coating, improving longevity while allowing smoother hair glide for natural, polished curls.
A high-quality heater ensures even heat distribution from base to tip, preventing temperature variation and avoiding uneven results.
The long-press safety activation (approx. 1.5 seconds) prevents accidental power-on, and the heat-up speed is among the fastest in its class. With a maximum temperature of 190°C, this professional tool supports efficient, time-saving styling for long or voluminous hair.
