The Dr. SPINE styling chair is a collaborative product developed with Dr. Ota, an orthopedic specialist, with a strong focus on reducing sitting fatigue. Designed under medical supervision, this chair supports the body gently and naturally, helping clients stay comfortable even during long salon sessions.

By shaping the backrest cushion to follow the natural alignment of the spine, the chair helps maintain the spine’s natural S-curve, reducing post-treatment discomfort and promoting relaxation. Comfortable seating leads to higher client satisfaction—and encourages repeat visits.

What is spinal alignment?
The human spine naturally forms a gentle S-shaped curve when viewed from the side, helping absorb impact while walking. Conventional flat-backed chairs can tilt the pelvis backward, forcing the spine into an unnatural curve—often leading to back or lower-back pain.

S-curve backrest design
The Dr. SPINE backrest is shaped to follow this natural spinal alignment, helping the body maintain proper posture and reducing fatigue after sitting.
