About the Product

Product Description

A towel with low shedding that becomes fluffier
and more voluminous the more you use it

These towels are made with our original, high-quality combed cotton yarn, specially developed for towels. Compared to regular towel cotton yarn, combed yarn sheds less fuzz.
Combed yarn is produced through a process called "combing," which removes short fibers and reduces pilling compared to regular yarn.
The cotton used for the yarn is carefully selected, resulting in a high-quality, expensive yarn.

Our hotel-style towels' post-bleaching process uses natural water to thoroughly remove the glue applied during weaving, resulting in high absorbency—a one-second absorption time, far exceeding the Imabari towel inspection standard of five seconds.
The thick pile yarns are woven with a long pile, creating a structure that easily captures plenty of air while also rapidly absorbing moisture.

The pile length and density are designed to absorb air and increase volume with use.
The long pile absorbs air and becomes approximately twice as voluminous before and after washing, approximately doubling the volume.
These towels are fluffy yet quick to dry, achieving the perfect balance.

With a wide variety of 18 colors to choose from, choosing a towel is a fun experience.
We have everything from classic colors to trendy colors, as well as the exquisite colors you've been looking for but couldn't find.

This is a long-selling product that has been on the market for over 16 years, with a total of over 10 million units sold*1.

~HIORIE~

We have been making towels in Senshu, Osaka, the historic birthplace of Japanese towels, for 60 years.
Towels are something everyone uses. That's why we want people to feel happy every day through the feel of their towels. With this wish in mind, we utilize the traditions and techniques of Senshu to create towels that are a part of everyday life in Japan.
All of our products are made in Japan, primarily in our own factory, with the cooperation of factories in Imabari and other parts of Japan.
We deliver original products that are focused on safety, comfort, and ease of use.

Precautions

Due to the nature of towels, they tend to shed. Always wash new towels separately in plenty of water and dry in the sun before use. Pilling will decrease after repeated washing.
Initially, small fibers and fluff caused by the manufacturing process will shed. Wash them separately.
Using fabric softener can cause linting, so wait until the shedding has subsided before using the recommended amount. Excessive use of fabric softener can reduce absorbency and cause linting.
Prolonged use in the dryer can damage towels and cause linting and shrinkage. Avoid
using detergents containing chlorine bleach or fluorescent detergents.
Dark-colored items may bleed, so wash them separately.
Leaving towels wet for long periods of time can cause mold and odors.
Use scissors to cut loose threads or loose
pile. Using a drum-type washing machine may change the texture of the towel or make it more susceptible to linting. Please check the instruction manual for your drum-type washing machine before washing.
・Do not wash with clothes that have zippers or hooks.
・Before drying, shake the towel gently to "raise the pile" to make the clothes fluffy.
