About Chiyoda Kagaku and DELAXIOR
Founded in Tokyo in 1952, Chiyoda Kagaku Co., Ltd. began with the development of cold wave perm agents. Today it develops professional products for hair colour, perms, straightening and hair care, with its main products made in Japan at its group's own factory in Azumino, Nagano.
The DELAXIOR brand was launched in 2006 with a focus on hair design that takes care to reduce damage. That approach runs through the lines introduced below, from formulas that consider damage from reducing agents and alkali to care ingredients that help support the hair's condition during chemical services.
Hair Straightening Agents: DELAXIOR Straight
DELAXIOR Straight is a range of three straightening systems for use with a flat iron, designed to cover a wide range of hair types for a light, natural straight finish without giving up shine or a soft feel. Each system consists of a first agent and its own second agent, and each agent is sold separately.
EX Hard and Hard contain trehalose, a moisturising ingredient that helps protect hair proteins from drying during processing and supports a soft, smooth finish.

Straight EX Hard: For Coarse Hair and Stubborn Curls
EX Hard is designed for coarse hair and stubborn curls, combining strong straightening performance with trehalose for a soft, smooth feel. According to Chiyoda Kagaku, its shorter softening time helps reduce service time compared with the company's previous products.
Straight Hard: For a More Natural Straight Finish
Hard is balanced to suit a wide range of techniques and hair conditions, from light to medium damage. It finishes damaged hair and softer curls into a more natural-looking straight, leaving hair soft and supple.
Straight Assist: Cysteamine-Based Straightening for a Soft Finish
Straight Assist is a neutral-range, cysteamine-based straightening cream designed to deliver a soft finish while helping minimise colour fading on the mid-lengths and ends. Four deodorising agents, including tea leaf distillate, help reduce residual odour. Use Assist 1 with the corresponding Assist 2 second agent.
Perm Solutions: Cocktail Wave EUREKA
EUREKA means "discovery". This perm system was developed from the finding that hair damage during perming is not caused by alkali alone: excessive reduction of the hair's S-S bonds can also leave hair dry, even with milder curling products. The result is a formula base designed to keep damage from both reduction and alkali low.
The first agents are based on Chiyoda Kagaku's M.A (Mild Amino) Reduction & Airy Watering formula. Soft, Medium and Hard use cysteine, an amino acid also found in hair, as the main reducing agent, while Extra Hard is thioglycolate-based. The formula also includes nano marine cholesterol for hair repair, with organic dog rose extract and rice-bran-derived inositol for moisture care.

The second lotion is chosen by the finish you want and by the first agent you are using. OX is hydrogen peroxide-based and is designed for moist, supple waves and a shorter service time. BR is bromate-based and gives hair body and firmness for waves with clear definition.

Digital Perm Creams: Cosme Cocktail style Q
Cosme Cocktail style Q is a curling cream for heat-based digital perms, developed to address common issues with conventional digital perms: long service times, a heavy load on the hair and difficulty repeating the service. Positioned between a digital perm and a cold perm, it is designed for soft, treatment-like curls with a simple, speedy process.
Both creams are neutral-range, cysteamine-based formulas. The Repair Plex formula combines gamma-docosalactone, levulinic acid and maleic acid with controlled rod heating and drying to support soft curl formation without a separate fixing lotion.

DELAXIOR SENSE Hair Protect Bond is a hair-reinforcing essence from the SENSE salon care series, used as a pre-treatment for hair colour, bleach and perm services. It reinforces the hair internally and externally to help protect it from chemical damage.
